Movie Night: Folktales

The Upcoming Event

• Wednseday march 4th we are screening Folktales

• Doors open 19:00, film begins at 19:30

• Lokaal432

• We provide popcorn, soda, couches, cushions, and blankets

• Everyone is welcome to bring additional drinks and snacks

• It is meant to feel informal, cozy, and welcoming

The Film:

• Folktales explores themes of isolation, social media, lost connection, and returning to nature

• It gently questions how modern life affects our ability to connect

• It reflects on what happens when we step away from constant digital stimulation and invites us to look deeper and reconsider what real connection looks and feels like

• It shows that even if we appear different on the outside, we all share the same fundamental human need: connection

Why the film is important:

• No matter how different we are – we all need connection

• Connection may not look the same for everyone

• Some people thrive in big social gatherings while others need more structure

• The film reminds us that community can be rebuilt in simple, grounded ways

• We are more digitally connected, but we may not feel as emotionally connected
